The State Bicycle Black Label (officially called the State Bicycle 6061 Black Label v2) is a single-speed track bike with an ultra-light, double-butted, TIG-welded 6061 aluminium frame that is designed to be lightweight and provide aerodynamic speed.
The bike comes with a flip-flop hub and allows an easy transition between fixed and freewheel.
The headtube has been tapered for added stiffness and responsiveness and sits on an Essor carbon fibre fork. Coupled with its tight drive train, you will feel like you are getting the most speed out of every push. But high performance does not mean a sacrifice on comfort, as both the handlebars and saddle have been designed to provide optimum comfort both in the velodrome and on the road.
The 6061 Black Label comes with 30mm mid-profile wheels with sealed hubs as standard, which are both durable and light. The flip-flop hub lets you easily switch between single gear and freewheel riding mode as you prefer. This is a natural progression from an entry-level fixed-gear bike if you are looking to get a bit more out of your riding. There is a range of great colour options including matte black, red, purple, silver and white.
